Happy New Year

Hello 2006.

What better way to kick off the new year than to start a brand new journal, a totally new slate to erase the old. A channel of sorts to share thoughts, observations and experiences with kindred souls/spirits, before the malaise of perfectionism/procrastination sets in. After more than a couple of years of "dumbing down" to the level of mainstream mush, the new year and rebel in me nudged my mind (and keyboard) to spreak/write me.

Be e blogger, babe, a producer of text, not a mere consumer/reader of other blokes' blogs! Be a web activist, do your bit for humanity, bummer! Get your a-- off that couch, let go of the remote and switch off that idiot box! (Being'desubscribed' by the pay tv station is a sure prime mover for the birth of this blog. It takes a personal catastrophe to get out of the comfort zone of the semi-recluse/social misfit, man.)

Enough of that prologue, babe, what's on your plate/slate?

Agenda 1:

Looking for a local investor for a regional venture into production and distribution of low-cost compact PCs. All u guys committed to the goals of MDG, BDD and Universal Access care to throw in some dough into this commercial project? Imagine those rural kids/folks getting access to information and knowledge by virtue of your noble act of investing into these devices that can cost less than US150 per unit.
