I'm certainly no connoisseur of high culture, more of a scholar of pop cult. So, never could have thought that Classical Music and Communism can be 'comrades in arms'. Until I had the pleasure of listening to Shostakovich Symphony No. 7 at the Dewan Philharmonic Orchestra last Sunday.
